On 20 January 2026, the Director of the SorSoW lab of the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) took part in the workshop “Digital Transformation in Action: Enabling user-centered care through inter-professional interventions”, focused on scaling up the TEAMCARE model for transversal digital skills and common baseline competences.
During Round Table 1: TEAMCARE preliminary pilot results (9:40–10:40), Kleio Koutra, PhD, MPH, BSW sharing early evidence from the pilot phase in Greece and reflecting on:
1. How the TEAMCARE curriculum strengthens community-based interprofessional teams (CBIT) for person-centred care
2. What it takes to ensure organisational feasibility and institutional transferability
pathways for scalability and sustainability across European health & social care systems
A key takeaway: pilots are the crucial bridge from a strong curriculum and skills framework to practical, usable evidence that supports real-world adoption.
