Στοχεύουμε ψηλά: Τρεις περιλήψεις από το SoRSoW Lab στο 3ο International Social Work Students Virtual Conference

Το Εργαστήριο Εφαρμοσμένης Κοινωνικής Έρευνας και Κοινωνικής Εργασίας (SoRSoW Lab) του Τμήματος Κοινωνικής Εργασίας του Ελληνικού Μεσογειακού Πανεπιστημίου (HMU) συνεχίζει να συμμετέχει ενεργά στη διεθνή ακαδημαϊκή κοινότητα, υποβάλλοντας τρεις περιλήψεις (abstracts) στο 3rd International Social Work Students Virtual Conference, με θέμα:

“Rising Together: Building Solidarity in a Fragmented World.”

Το συνέδριο διοργανώνεται από το Students for Global Change (SGC) της Σχολής Κοινωνικής Εργασίας του University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) και θα πραγματοποιηθεί 24 Μαρτίου 2026, διαδικτυακά.

Οι υποψήφιες διδάκτορες του SoRSoW Lab που υπέβαλαν εργασίες είναι:

    From Translation to Ethical Practice: Adapting the ABCD Paradigm for Greek Child Protection

  • Lina Pelekidou
    From Theory to Practice: Developing a Holistic Interpretative Framework for Refugee Trauma

  • Samara Rafaela
    A Mixed-Methods Study of Gender-Based Violence and Trauma Recovery in Mountainous Rural Crete Using CENI and the Trauma Recovery Rubric (TRR)

Κεντρική ομιλήτρια του συνεδρίου θα είναι η Professor Antoinette Lombard, Πρόεδρος της International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW) και Καθηγήτρια Κοινωνικής Εργασίας στο University of Pretoria (South Africa).

Aiming High: Three Abstract Submissions from SoRSoW Lab to the 3rd International Social Work Students Virtual Conference

The Social Applied Research and Social Work Laboratory (SoRSoW Lab) of the Department of Social Work at Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) continues to actively engage with the international academic community by submitting three abstracts to the 3rd International Social Work Students Virtual Conference, titled:

“Rising Together: Building Solidarity in a Fragmented World.”

The conference is organized by Students for Global Change (SGC) at the School of Social Work, University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) and will take place online on March 24, 2026.

PhD researchers from the SoRSoW Lab who submitted their work include:

The conference keynote speaker will be Professor Antoinette Lombard, President of the International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW) and Professor of Social Work at the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
